Garden Power Installation for Henry L.

Outdoor Power for a Garden Designed to Be Enjoyed

Henry had put a great deal of work into his garden, and it was already a lovely place to spend time. What it needed was a convenient source of power so the space could be used more easily after sunset.

Following a visit from Toby, we supplied a quotation promptly, arranged a suitable date and installed a weatherproof outdoor power point. The result is an addition that supports the garden lighting without competing with the character of the space.

A Quick Summary

We visited Henry to discuss the best way to bring power into his garden. We then installed a weatherproof double socket in a useful position and left the area tidy. Henry can now run his garden lighting from a proper outdoor supply and enjoy the view well into the evening.

Looking at the Garden Before Recommending the Work

Outdoor power is most useful when its position reflects how the garden is actually used. An outlet can work perfectly well but still prove frustrating if it is difficult to reach, hidden behind planting or nowhere near the equipment it is meant to supply.

Toby visited Henry at home before quoting. This allowed us to see the garden, understand what Henry wanted to power and advise him on the available options. It also meant that our quotation could be based on the property itself rather than assumptions made over the telephone.

Henry appreciated the straightforward process. Toby followed up quickly with the price, and we were able to get the job booked promptly.

Installing a Useful Outdoor Power Point

On the agreed day, Toby arrived when expected and carried out the installation. The photographs show the weatherproof double socket mounted neatly on the timber boundary, close to the routes used by the garden lights. Both outlets have protective covers suited to an outdoor setting, while the position keeps the supply accessible without making it a noticeable feature.

The power point gives Henry much more freedom than running electricity from inside the house whenever it is needed. His garden lights can be connected where they are used, and the second outlet is available for other suitable equipment when required.

A Small Installation That Changes the Evening View

The finished photographs show exactly why Henry wanted power outside. The warm lights follow the fence and continue through the garden, picking out the planting without flooding the space with harsh light. As daylight fades, the paths, roses and seating area remain visible, and the garden can still be enjoyed from the patio.

This project did not need to alter the garden itself. Our job was to provide the electrical infrastructure that allowed Henry to use the lighting he wanted conveniently. The socket sits quietly in the background, which is precisely what a successful installation should do in a garden with this much character.

Henry’s Review

Henry was kind enough to leave us the following feedback:

“I recently used TS Electrical to set me up with power in my garden. From start to finish, they were fantastic! Toby visited my house and advised me on the best options. He immediately followed up with prices, and they got me booked very promptly. On the day the work was carried out, Toby arrived exactly when he said he would and was extremely professional with the work and left everything neat and tidy. I would highly recommend his services to anyone requiring electrical work.”

We are delighted that Henry was pleased with the installation and the way the job was handled. His garden was already a beautiful space. It now has the practical outdoor power needed to make more of it during the evening.
